chiller system and part

Good day engineers,
Im a site engineer and i am responsible to supervise the chiller installation and more details of chiller,ahu and etc.. and im just a new beginner, knowing only some technical and theoritical in refrigeration.
Im searching for the function of all part,devices that included in the chiller system and also i want to learn more as a site engr. of a chiller insatllion and all and all.

i hope that you can help me about my concern!

Get a copy of the ASHRAE handbooks, all 4 of them. They will give you a lot of information of the operation and equipment in hte system.

you are a new engineer, and as you said your mission now is to supervise a chiller plant installation, so don't worry too much about theory for now, the project is already designed and is in construction phase, if you faced an issue then you check with an older engineer in your company, read the chiller manfucturer product data, contact manufucturere if you can , all manufucturer have application engineers and thier job is to help clients for technical issues.

i have a another follow up question.
as a supervisor engineer in a chiller installation what are the things that i must consider most or i must be concern all the times?
like, you know every time i wake up in the morning,things to do some things like that.. because in my situation right now i have a lot of thoughts that pump up in my mind, and sometimes it leads to nothing.. what i mean is that i start searching things that i don't know whether it can help to do my job better..

and also my old engineer in the company tell me that i must do a report daily,weekly and monthly. is there a format for a report letter or a source that i must go to? to have a sample format of it??

the answare of your question is not here, it is in your company, because it depend on the project your are working on,
you are supervising an installation but in which side you are in, owner side or contractor side.
as for reports, also you will find a sample in your company, don't worry, your company know your ability and will help you to do your job, take it easy, you are not only the one in this project.
