I am working on a large pit press foundation for an industrial plant. The shop drawings for the press includes some steel sizes that are marked "by customer." So I have to include these in my drawings. The shape sizes are in "chinese" format. For example, this is a wide flange designation "H600x300x12x20" I'm assuming this is:
d = 600 mm
bf = 300 mm
tw = 12 mm
tf = 20 mm
So first question, am I on track with the above? Second question, is there a chart published that converts these sizes to imperial designations or just don't be lazy and convert myself?
