Chlorides residues after a hydro in a Sour Water Tank.....Issue? 1

Our corporate EP's (Engineering Practices) and the codes all reflect after a hydro the chlorides should be below 50ppm's.
My question is we have a sour water tank that is going to be hydro'd.
Does the chloride content make any difference after?
Because when the sour water mixes with the salt I would not think the salts would be an issue.

Thoughts ....Comments?

Why there is a limit on the chloride content of the water to be used for hydro-test in case of carbon steels?

The reason is, broadly, to prevent any acidic corrosion before commissioning.

So, keep things separate. Do not mix in service corrosion with something that could occur before commissioning.
