Does anyone have a working Caesar II to Lisega Licad workflow? If so can you provide pointers.

As I understand it, with the system modelled using Lisega hanger catalogue, you use the Import/Export Interface in Cii to export a database mdb file with the hanger report.

This is then read into Licad whereby it can finish the selection of hangers for producing detailed spec, drawings and export to Plant 3d.

Attached below is a pdf of our workflow, however it fails on the last step and imports nothing into Licad.

Reviewing the database file shows the hanger report is there with all necessary info.

Any help/info appreciated

I did not go through the file that you have attached. However the basic problem is the ancillary weight in the spring hanger selection. If you have provided this in the CAESAR II or any software for pipe stress analysis there will not be too much problem, and the spring hangers selected will work in the LICAD application.
What you can do is to iterate CAESAR II analysis with the LICAD finding for the ancillary weight, and add them in the CAESAR II analysis.

This problem mainly occurs in the low diameter piping with large ancillary weight, and if the selected hangers load limit is close to operating load level.
