I am designing cast in place anchors and the shear concrete breakout is exceeding the allowable, so I am designing supplemental reinforcement for the anchor group in order to negate the concrete breakout. Can anyone give some guidance on the design of this supplemental reinforcement?

My suggestion would be ,

- Pls look ACI 318 -19 , CHAPTER 17—ANCHORING TO CONCRETE

- Look also ACI 355.3R-11 ( there are worked examples )

- You may consider horizontal hairpins, anchor angle with reinf, shear lug ..

- You may prefer to provide more details to get more specific responds..
