I need to know sources of replacement parts for a vintage 1960 Allis-Chalmers (A-C) circuit breaker used in a metalclad switchgear lineup?

I have already contacted Siemens, who purchased the circuit breaker division from A-C, but haven't heard anything.

There are several companies that sell used switchgear and parts. Many of them are on the internet. You might want to Google that one.

The Allis-Chalmers stuff is fairly common and you should be able to get anything you need.

I have a ton of those breakers in my shop for parts, what are you looking for specifically?

I have had luck going to my transmission supplier, in my case TVA, they have a bone yard on their system where they keep outdated stuff and have mostly whatever you need unless someone before you got their first. Good luck.

Thanks to everyone for the comments!

to ZogZog: I haven't got the numbers yet. One of the aux. relays was charred from the fire (which was extinguished promptly). As soon as I can get the numbers, I'll get them to you. Gracias Amigo!
