I am trying to figure out that how to model the motor operated circuit-switcher (with interrupter) for overcurrent coordination purposes? Software have the option to model circuit-breaker and disconnector, but no option to model circuit switcher. Thanks

Operated within its interrupting ratings, all you need is the interrupting time of the interrupter, the blades are a distraction. If the fault is beyond the interrupting rating and you try to interrupt it, well things can get interesting. We have several and have a blocking scheme to keep the CS from tripping until line tripping reduces the fault current below the interrupting rating. Fortunately I don't know how well that scheme actually works as we haven't had any faults that would require the blocking scheme since well before I started, if they've ever happened.

Modern circuit switchers, on the other hand, are essentially just live tank breakers and interrupt the same way breakers do.

You can just model it as a circuit breaker plus a disconnect switch unless you are trying to do some type of transient analysis on the device itself. Most software libraries include circuit switchers in their breaker library.
