Dear Team,
We have Ekato Agitator for prepolymer.
Seal is of John Crane CK 738 Double back to back arrangement with bearing vertically installed with Plan 53A.
Issue is Barrier Fluid which is Ethylene Glycol is repeatedly becoming black coloured and needs repeated replacement.
Seal does not have any leakage as no pressure drop or pressure rise is observed in syphon pot.
This seal does not have additional water cooling over barrier fluid.
The Ekato agitator works under vaccum, vaccum is properly maintained.
Kindly help us to detect the issue of barrier fluid repeatedly becoming black.
