I would appreciate any feed back on performance of clad materials for surface and buried pipelines in sour service with moderate to high CO2 content. I understand metallurgical bonded pipes,e.g.,PROCLAD, as well as mechanical lined, e.i., ABUTTING, pipe have been used for long time.

Yes they have although lined pipe has tended not to have seen too much H2S service. Not sure that Proclad do substantial pipelines as they are a weld overlay supplier which is not too efficient for large amounts of linepipe. Internet searches will get you information about applications in Mobile and in Madden Deep, Wyoming. JSW are the major clad linepipe player and supplied Shell's Malampaya flowlines which are functioning perfectly after 9 or so years offshore the Philippines in H2S service. Application of lined pipe is a little behind in experience which is why DNV have had to run a joint industry project to try and define some solid specification requirements and solve some design issues.
