I need to order a Amine regeneration Tower for our refinery. Existing tower is carbon steel 516-Gr 70 and new will be sa-264 clad,SA-240 3126L on 516 GR70N backing material.
I have question regarding new clad tower: Do we need to apply any NACE requirements and if yes which NACE Standard.

Regards,

The "NACE" standard for refineries is NACE MR0103/ISO 17945

It addresses requirements for the CRA layer to meet but leaves it to the end user to specify whether or not the substrate material needs to be compliant with it as well.
