Hi All

I am looking to move away from traditional lagging and cladding on our boilers. They have a huge maintenance cost and when they get wet the corrosion is extreme. I am looking for an alternative? Insolating coatings might be an option so is there some specific brands that your are using? The ducting material is of mild steel and the operating temperature is a maximum of 240'C.

Thanks

Presently what is the material used for lagging and cladding?
You may use Ceramic Fibre Blocks, apply castable or even use SS 410 plates although each one has its own advantages and disadvantages!

Not enough information. What size boilers? Power or industrial? Regarding insulted coatings - I would stay away from them. The corrosion you refer to is under insulation and this can be dealt with by drying the boiler after boiler washings, etc.
