Hi there!

I'm looking at steel cladding products that may withstand severe corrosive and marine environments, exposed to regular contact with aggreasive solutions (High pH alkalines and Low pH acids).
Tried any products in similar situations or have any ideas on certain products? Do tell!:)

Cheers, Luk

I recommend a fiberglass-reinforced vinylester resin. Our company uses a 3/8” chopped fiberglass/Derakane coating for containment protection in a metal finishing plant and chemical storage areas, with exposure to strong acids and caustic solutions. It also seems pretty resistant to errant forklift drivers.

If your exposure may include sodium hypochlorite, see ghopkins’ post in thread127-39974

Thanks for the info kenvlach.
I will check it out!
Cheers, Luk
