CLASS 2000 VS 3000 ASME B16.11

Hello Experts

I am designing a fitting which is 1/8" nps size.

I used the formula for calculation: Sch=1000P/S
Working pressure is 2000 psi and allowable stress is 13,300psi.

I got 150sch (i used 160sch# based on table 2).

But when i checked the dimensions in table 5, class 2000 and 3000 are the same.

Please explain to me the difference between these two classes.

According to ASME 16.11, plugs and bushings are not identified by class designation. They may be used for ratings up to
Class 6000 designation. They are compatible with class 2000, 3000, and 6000 fittings.
 
The difference is in wall thcikness of fittings that have a wall, like those in table 2. Also see table 7 for the difference in equivalent wall thickness rating.
