clean surface for sheet metaldie design

I am die designer, I receive draw surface in .iges format, lot of gaps in the surface when i open it. I need clean surface, pls suggest process to..

Ask your customer to deliver data in Parasolid or Step format instead.
Then we can start discussing what to do next.
