I'm sizing a clip. My you help me to calculate the prying effect on the bolts and flange?
A shear load has been applied to the first flange while the second flange is jointed with three bolt to a rigid body.

What is the nature of your model's connecting elements between the force and the first flange? A realistic representation of the actual part(s) stiffness(es) would be necessary. Otherwise, you could make simplifications like only one bolt takes all the force, or both have exactly one half the force, etc. After determining the applied force to one of the bolts, you can use VDI 2230 to calculate safety factors against joint opening, bolt overstress, etc. VDI 2230 is available as a text guideline from Beuth, or as software from various vendors like Hexagon and Tedata.
