I am running CATIA v5R16. When I clip (round) a rastered isometric view it appears that that the clip was successful. But when you view it in the print preview and also when it prints out the clip is not round but is square. Most of the times it is this way but some times it prints out properly. Why is this.
Here is how to recreate the problem:
1. Create a Drawing.
2. Make an isometric view of an assembly
3. Go to properties for the view.
3. Remove Check mark for “Hidden Lines”
4. Check “3D Colors”
5. Set view generation mode to “Raster”.
6. Select options button next to view generation mode setting.
7. Set Raster Mode to “Shading with Edges”
8. Select “Normal Quality” for visu
9. Select “High Quality” for print.
10. Select “Ok”
11. Select “Close”
12. Duplicate by Copy and Paste Raster Isometric View
13. Use Clipped (Round) View tool to Reduce
14. View in Print preview to see if the clip is printing is round or square.
Can anybody tell me why this happens?
