We have got gas turbine model GT10B-Alstom and this turbine is double shaft (HP turbine and low pressure turbine)the HP turbine speed is variable and power turbine speed is constant as 77300 and reduucedto 1500 rpm to generator speed
The generator shaft is drived from both side steam turbine side and GT side through SSS clutch, when GT is stopped and ST is runnibg there are small speed 89 rpm at power turbine of GT where SSS clutch disengaged from GT side
Please, from where speed comming and is this problem and if yes how can solve

Could this be a simple problem of clutch drag? It may not be completely disengaging. Most dry clutches don't like a lot of slipping-the wear rate could be high.

L have not more inf for clutch can you tell me how

I put an answer in the engine and turbine forum where you also posted this question.

Have you been to the manufacturers website?

Okky, there are two SSS clutches for both side of Gen, but my exception this speed comming from generator then via SSS clutch then to reduction speed (8:1)ratio then transfer to PT , is this right

If you have double posted, I would suggest you red flag one post yourself before someone else does it to you.

Copy and paste the contents of the least responsive thread to the most responsive, the red flag the least responsive.

Start a new thread in the forum that you used the red flag on to tell people who helped you were they can see all the information posted in one place.
