CMM and a Tech Hurdle b/t PCDIMIS and Data Page

I have a Brown and Sharpe CMM using PCDIMIS 3.7. We also have Data Page software on the local PC. I am trying to take measurements on the CMM and write them to a Data Page file in a database. I am able to create a file in a data base I have created. However, the created file is empty when I attempt to open it (Transactions, the measurements) are not in the file. The properties of the file list it as "read only." I have exhausted all tech support from Hexagon Metrology (the parent company of Brown & Sharpe). They believe my issue lies in the "read-only attribute default" of the file. IT has worked diligently, but to no avail. If you have any information that may be of value regarding this issue please share.

Can you output the results in a CDF file, then import that file into your data base and receive the same results? I realize it's a two step process, but should let you know whether PCDIMS is outputting the file correctly. If the CDF output is correct, then you'll likely need to work on the translation. If the output is not correct, you know the initial issue is not with your data page file.

Hopefully I understood your question correctly.

I am able to write to a PDF file with no issue. I'm not familiar with a CDF file. The PDF file is generated from the "print to" options in PC-DMIS. I'm missing the translation from PC-DMIS to Data Page because of the "read-only attribute" file settings.
