CMU Design w/ 2000 IBC

When designing masonry with ASD I find it a bit confusing as to which load combinations to use for design. I think under the strict interpretation you should use the loads from ACI-530 Section 2.1.2, but the IBC just tells you to use chapter 1 & 2 for Working Stress Design per Section 2107.1. If you design for ultimate then ACI 530 requires you to use the combinations from ASCE-7 and IBC says to use Section 1605.2 which come from ASCE-7. Any thoughts?
