Hi Everyone,

I remember that I have read somewhere that the most corrosive case in CO2-H2S environment is when the ratio of the partial pressures is 1.
Is this true? If yes, any reference please?

Regards,

I've never read that, and I've done a reasonable amount of reading on the subject.

In some environments there is a critical ratio (for carbon steel) but it depends on temp, pH, and a few other things.
I don't believe that this is a general condition.

@SJones and @EdStainless, thanks for the replies.
It seems that I am mistaken then!
