CO2 Pressure reduction question

I am looking for a valve that will reduce an 800psi CO2 input to around 100psi output. The input is a 12g CO2 sparklet.

I have a very small project space (around 4cm(L) x 3cm(H) x 3cm(depth).

can anyone suggest a good way of doing this? I am assuming some kind of pressure regulator is required. Or would an adjustable flow valve achieve what I want. Not sure what is the best way of achieving this.

From what I can tell a pressure release valve would mean constantly venting the pressure to keep it at a regular flow.

I am looking for a way for the gas to be enclosed in the system until it released. A similar system is used on paintball guns but I cant work out how the bottle pressure is turned down so that it is reduced from 800 to 100 psi before it gets to the barrel.

The mechanism is powered from a very small CO2 bottle and I dont want to waste the gas when it is not being used.
