Hello guys i am working at one of the fastener company in Turkey.
I am the responsible of coating department(Dry-film painting department). The problem is that we dont have any non-destructive coating thickness device. So we use cross-sectioning the parts in the laboratory. But, this takes really long time in laboratory. So I want to change the measuring method and i am thinking about dimensional check of the parts. My question is how to mark the parts to find the same parts before and after the coating. You know we coated about 300 parts in the same time. Marking method should be easy for the operator. My opinion is using a colorful masking tape on parts thus operator can find marked parts easily after the coating.
I will be waiting for your ideas. Your ideas may be better than mine.![[2thumbsup] [2thumbsup] [2thumbsup]](/data/assets/smilies/2thumbsup.gif)
