Hi,
I am trying to carryout creep fatigue analysis using option-2 of Code case 2605.
As per code case 2605, fatigue analysis needs to be performed as per para. 5.5.4 of ASME Sec.VIII Div.2.
Div.2, fatigue analysis requires use of stabilized cyclic stress strain curve for carrying out the fatigue analysis.
ASME Annex 3-D does provide the curves for some materials except 2.25Cr-1Mo-0.25V. Further Code Case does not provide any guideline regarding the cyclic curve parameters to be considered.
I am currently carrying out the analysis using EPP curve as it would provide conservative results compared to Stabilized curves.
Does anyone here have experience of using Option-2?
