Coefficient of Consolidation Question

Hi, question about coefficient of consolidation as it is detailed in NCEES study guide, concerning normally consolidated clays.
Coefficient of consolidation is calculated as (change in rise/change in run): .
Why is it shown like this in the graph, with Cc shown as the run portion of the slope, and I shown as rise? Thanks!!

The coefficient of consolidation is cv to me not Cc. Cc coefficient of compression.

But anyways, I wouldn't overthink where cc is marked on the graph. Just work out the slope of the line and that's cc.
