Cohesive Element

Hi everyone
I have defined a model for cohesive element trying to determine SDEG result of a structure.
After submitting the job and observing the results, I don't know why the red part which is standing for the torn elements is not continuous and it's presented in different pieces as shown by the image below. One thing that is vital to explain is that the checkerboard structure consists of two different material and the tiny squares are not necessarily of the same material.
I mean, is this non consecutive result of SDEG logical ?

This may be just some display issue but use the Query tool to check these elements (see how they are stacked and what output values are calculated inside them).
