Existing 200 thick ground bearing slab in a cold store, with high bay racking system, has been laid as a large area pour slab. There are sawn contraction joints at 6m c/c with the main contraction / expansion joints located at 40m centres.
Due to lack of business the cold store is intermittently used, whereby the slab temp ranges between cold store temp of 5degrees and not in use temp of 22degrees.Most joint sealants have a 10-15% movement range, and are therefore unable to cope with the large temperature movement cycle being experienced by the slab.

Any suggestions on how the probelem could be overcome, economically?
The racking is in place and cold store in use. Application temprature can be temporarily increased for sealant application. The floor is also trafficed by forklifts and therefore a "hard" sealant (low movement range!) would be ideal to protect edges of concrete slab.
