Collinear/Aligning Extension Lines in Drafting

Is there any way to align a leader from a feature control frame so it is collinear with the edge it is coming off of? For example see attached image.

Everyone here tells me you have to hold the shift key and manually eyeball it until it looks aligned. That doesn't sound right to me!
