Color Transfer

I was mirroring some components in an assembly about a center datum plane in which each component were given different color (to differentiate the material), it did mirror but not the color of components and gives some different colors (I think default color). Is there anyway by which color could also be transferred while doing the mirroring option. Version: pro/e 2001. Thanks,Raj.

If you set the color at part level then it will carry across,open the parts and set the color there , then if you mirror/copy in assembly it will keep the same color.

You set colors at assembly level then it gives the new ones the default color..least under r2001.. wf might handle it better

Yup I set colors @ assy level only for various reasons, but wierd.....that it is not able to handle, thanks much- Raj.
