Hi, I'm new to this forum, my solidworks teacher recommended it...

I have 6 section views, each one is set to a different display state with different colored faces. The sectioned views are not showing colored faces, they are just showing as gray (the material color) - except for one...one works correctly. All the section views have the same settings - I created them by copying/pasting the first view and then just changing the display state. I dont understand why one works, and the rest don't....

What I'm tyring to do is create an instruction page for a part that uses multiple gages to check different features. I created multiple display states, one for each gage, where I colored the faces that the gage checks. Each display state has 3-4 drawing views, including 1-2 sectioned views. All the non-sectioned views show the colored faces correctly. [!]How do I get the sectioned views to show the colored faces correctly?[/!]

I've attached an image showing the colored face in the model, and how the sectioned view doesn't show the colored face correctly...

[!]Solved[/!]

Instead of creating mutliple display states in one configuration, I created multiple configurations, and chose "link display states to configurations". I then edited the colors for each configuration and then chose that configuration for the drawing views. All views work correctly now.
