Hi,
Are there any paper/resources that show how much efficiency is loss during a scale-up of a product?
For example, there is a lot of talk about Fuel Cell technology and the recovery of precious metals. Sadly there is currently weak recycling technology, but from a science perspective there is a lot of promising recovering technologies, yielding 95+% of precious metals recovered.
However as we scale things up from the laboratory to the manufacturing floor efficiency is lost. So are there any resources that might give a hint at efficiency losses during scale up?
Thanks,
OHyeah
