Hi
We intend to tap off from the 11 kV overhead line, install a compact breaker on the pole + protection relay to feed another plant transformer with below nameplate.

Does this compact breaker 11 kV that can be installed on an electric pole exist?

I am always fascinated to see other regions/countries methods of construction. Aerial mounted breakers are typically referred to as reclosers or automatic circuit reclosers. Nearly all of my experience is in North America so I do not know the terminology or manufactures in the IEC world. I have seen some stuff from Hughes Power Systems (Swedish?), I know they make a compact pole mount recloser. The relay and controls can be pole mounted in an cabinet at the base of the pole or can be remote.

In the US, that would be a "recloser". Siemens and ABB both sell them in the US.

Did that 30 years ago. We had a project in, I think the Philippines, to electrify small islands. We built a number of small power stations with multiple 100 kw sets, generating at 400 V. The power was distributed around each island at 11 kV, so each group of sets fed the 11 kV side via a step-up transformer.

Using traditional 11 kV circuit breakers would have been expensive, since in the traditional way you need at least two breakers – an incomer and an out-goer. All we wanted was to inter-trip the 11 KV side from the LV side of the step-up transformer. Someone hit on pole mounted 11 kV reclosers. They did the job economically and effectively.

Not the way you would do it in most areas, but it was economical and it worked.

G&W Electric makes a Viper ST unit in the 15kV class. It is coupled with a SEL-651R relay / controller. It can be furnished all inclusive with PT's or capacitive voltage sensors, CT's, surge arrestors. The Control power transformer is generally separate. The SEL control box has a battery, charger, communications (if ordered). These are very popular units in the US. ABB and Schneider make complete systems as well. Nearly everything is pre wired with an umbilical cord from the pole mounted switchgear to the control / relay box. The only other field connections are communications and the CPT. If the pole is there already, these can be installed with a line crew / bucket truck in less than 1 day. My company did field commissioning of over 150 reclosers last year from a wide variety of vendors. From an overall standpoint, the G&W / SEL gave us the least troubles. G&W Viper ST

The recloser will not have the same interrupting capability as a full blown circuit breaker. It's also a lot smaller, lighter and less expensive.

Thanks for your replies and advice.

Tavrida OSM breakers are also an option that comes with the SEL 651R.
Good breaker and weighs in about 170Kg

You do get outdoor 11kV Circuit breakers, apart from reclosers (mentioned by many above).
The difference is in SC rating. Pole mounted reclosers have a limitation that the max SC level is 16kA.
This constraint doesn't exist with outdoor circuit breakers (ODCB).
It all depends on the requirement.
