Dear Engineers,
How can I compacted an area at 95%? The area is not plane and it has been compacted in the past but the rate was lower than the 95%.
Is the soil the problem or the Compactor. And also, is a 17 Ton compactor good for this job?
Here is what I planed to:
Dig under the existing area at 40 cm deep. Then, fill with 20 cm of soil, compact that part, poor some water on it and after pouring some water, put again some soil at 20 cm and compact it until it is fill up to the same level as the existing area.
Is this process a good one?
Waiting for your answers.
