Compaction induced lateral earth pressures on retaining walls

I am trying to find out any new calculation procedures for determining the lateral earth pressure on walls, both retaining walls and foundation walls, due to compaction. I am familiar with some early procedures such as in NAVFAC........and proposals in literature.......however would like to hear about current state of the practice ......

There has been some research done in the UK by the Transport Road Research Laboratory. They constructed a concrete retaining wall and then conducted two experiments using sands and then clays behind the wall. The wall was monitored to record the lateral earth pressures behind the wall following the compaction regime, which included a heavy smooth wheeled roller directly at the back of the wall. this was done a number of years ago so may not qualify as &quot;new&quot;.
