Compare ADAMS to other packages

Whats the difference between ADAMS and other mechanism analysis softwares. some CAD/CAM/CAE applications include modules to do motion analysis like ProE,CATIA even solidworks which i think uses ADAMS solver. so, can someone tell me whats the difference? what kind of analysis you can do with ADAMS which you cant do with others i mentioned?

Hard to say really. Few of use who use ADAMS would have used a high end CAD system, I suspect. Either way the description of ADAMS capabilities is well known,
