Many times there are several sources for a particular product. I have been looking at the Deva Metal to solve an issue and I wondered if anyone knows of a domestic competitor to them? Thanks.

"Domestic" means different things to different folks. Care to define what country you are referring to?

Which specific bearing material are you using?

There are many, many suppliers of polymer and sintered bronze plain bearings. And that last statement had a plethora of google-able search terms in it...

There are two types we are looking at, the Deva Metal 115 and the Deva BM. We are looking at the Deva for its high compressive strength and maintenance free lubricity. A coating of PTFE is not what we desire. Thanks.

Dave,

Tried to look up the two terms you gave, and gave up pretty quickly. Tell you what - you do the research, and come back with specific compostions for the materials (sintered copper/lead/tin/what? and what %? PTFE can be sintered into metal bearings too, and what % do you want?).

Yes, there are domestic suppliers in N. America, Europe, Asia, and probably Central and S. America, Australia, for most of the above. Dunno about Africa...
