Compiler in Code Compoer for TMS320LF2406

I'm using Code Composer 4.10 for compiling C code for TMS320LF2406. I have found that the compiler is working awful with emulator, but it's doing great with simulator.

I'd like to know about C compiler in Code Composer. Did someone used it and had acceptable results?

I have used the code composer with TMS320C32 amd C33 without any problems(Although we had to download some patches from the web site). Could it be that the problems stem from the real time behavior in the emulator? ( data acquisition etc. falling over when break points are set)
