I am trying to make a circular ramp that I would normally make a helical sweep for. The only trick is, I need an infinitely variable pitch angle from 30 degrees to 50 degrees, for ~90 degrees of rotation.
Imagine a spiral stair case, but only making 90 degrees of rotation. During that first quarter circle, I want the stair case to start with a tangential angle of 30 degrees, and finish at an angle of 50 degrees.
Does that make sense? I have a formula for the curve, I'm just not sure how to go about actually building it.
Any input?
