Complex linetype/text

I've been able to create a custom linetype with text.

The problem...
When plotting using a thin lineweight everything looks great. When plotting using a heavy lineweight, the text is a little too heavy. Is there anyway to plot the text thinner than the line?

Pedit the line into a polyline, give it width you need, use lighter pen so text plots thin.
