Hi,

This is my first post here and I am still learning, so apologies if I am out of line.

I am developing a domestic product and need to start searching for component suppliers, particulry providers of inexpensive RF modules and a basic current transformer (CT's) split core 'clips'. I am particurly interested in good winding manufacturers.

Is this forum the right place to find this information?,can somebody point me in the right direction? I can provide more information if required.

thanks

jon

Hello:

This is my first post here and I am learning, I am looking for data sheets of a particular Fet skp630 and I can't find it in any place, I don't know if this forum can help me about that.
Thanks

I've had a quick google search but can not find one, have you tried emailing the manufacturer?

jonnykyoto,

This forum is fine for your questions, but in order to point you toward RF suppliers we will need more information on your product. What do you need this RF module to do? What frequency range, power level, etc.

The more info you can give, the better chance you have of getting a useful answer.

jon,

Your location makes an enormous difference when asking for suppliers. The readership literally spans the globe, so it does matter.

I`m working with an RF transceiver from Nordic Semiconductor
and real happy with it and the company.
Hope this helps,

Is it me or is this thread becoming more surreal by the day?

Hi everybody,

Aplogies for not replying sooner, and thanks to everybody for their posts.

My company is based in the UK, we will manufacture initially in the UK but expect to manufacture, when volues high enough, in china.

We need a current transformer clip to measure ac current through a wire, at 240 vac, up t 40A. It needs to be retrofittable and so must be a clip.

The voltage output of the clip must be 5vpeak at 40A

The RF link needs to be cheap, as cheap as possible!! The data rate required is measly, 10 - 20 BYTES a SECOND. We are not looking for a high bandwidth transitter. It needs to be 433 mhz. am or fm, 10mw output pwer. It needs to have a range of 300 feet, line of site.

It's one way communication.

I hope that helps you understand what we are doing a bit better.

thanks in advance

jon
