Hello,

I wonder why the component array function not works in the way the feature array works.
In the feature array nx puts the features together in a group but with components it doesn't. When putting 100 different components in an array you need to press a hundred times on OK.
I think the component array function should be improved a lot anyway.
Its always hard to find the parent component;
It makes the assembly slow;
It makes the assembly tree cluttered;
It is inconvenient to edit the parameters.

Ok, did they finally improve it! I am very curious how it will work.
I hope they also improved the way the reference set function works. It changed in I think it was NX7.5, and in my opinion it only got worse.

While it is true that Feature Instancing (now called Pattern Feature) has been significantly enhanced (read 'replaced entirely') in NX 8.0, Component Instancing has not yet been given the same treatment, but it is scheduled for a future release.

O that is pity. The feature instance wasn't that bad. They could better have started with the component instance.
