Component attribute identifier in NX8

I can't find any info about why when I reference an attribute from component, my identifier is changed from:

<Wcomponent_name@attribute_name>

to something like that:

<WRef1*0@attribute_name>.

What's going on with that new format?

JohnRBaker, I think you must know what's going on with the new way the attributes from other parts are referenced in NX8.
 
Thats a problem in Nx8 a lot of old pattern customization (attribute inside) don't work anymore. please open up an pr against it.

I don't believe that this is an attribute issue, but rather it involves how references are made and maintained within an assembly structure. If this is causing problems in the sense that something which worked prior to NX 8.0 is now causing errors or giving you incorrect results, then please, as already has been suggested, contact GTAC and have them open an IR/PR so that we can get the right people looking at what you've encountered.
