Component quantity on drawing sheet

Dear All,
I have a drawing from an assembly. I can read the Part_Name attribute from the component with the Note, Insert Object Attribute command near to the component.
Is there any methods to read the quantity of this component using the Note or any other commands?
I wouldn't like to use the Part List.

A simple program could be written which would count the components in the assembly and create an attribute/expression representing the qty of each one and then you could use that in your note/label along with the Part Name attribute.
