I have an assembly which contains both internal (virtual) and external (independant) components.
The components are not visible in at the assembly level.
They are there in the assembly tree and are taged as visible but don't show in the graphics window.
I can open each component seperately and see everything with no problems but can't see anything at the assembly level which prevents me from working on the virtual components.

Yes, I think so.
In case I don't, where would I check to be sure?

I recently learned about something called SpeedPak, for use in large assemblies. Discovered that when a subassembly is in SpeedPak configuration many of the components will literally disappear from view as your mouse gets near them. Its a really weird effect, and one that might be difficult to work with.

Speedpak is something you have to setup, if you didn't set it up, that's probably not what your seeing.

Expand >> in the top of the Feature manager tree to see the appearances.
