seems like there's no solution for splicing of cylindrical plies. at least in Israel support team doesn't have any solutions for that issue. the difference between regular plies and cylindrical plies splicing is a need of two splicing curves for cylindrical plies.
typical splicing of cylindrical plies in Catia looks like this: butt joint plus patch over joint. that's make no sense to me.
tubes are never produced like Catia thinks it should, at least at our shop.
playing with different overlap and stagger direction gives different results, none of which can satisfy me.
is there any solution for this







 
i spoke to a guy from Dassaul systems and there's no solution for what i'm asking for.
this is a known problem and Dassaul guys are working on that.
