I have a vinyl ester with carbon fiber reinforcments. I want to digest the matrix so I can calculate the fiber fraction etc. I am following ASTM D3171-11. It says to use 30-50% Hydrogen peroxide and to use 20mL of sulfuric acid. It doesn't say what concentration though. Does anyone know or can suggest one?

I typically use ACS Grade at 95-98%.

Stipulations:
•The above is tribal knowledge...it worked for others I know, so I use it and it works for me. I'm not a chemist, so I can't analytically define a required minimum concentration...
•The bulk of my experience has been with epoxy matrix composites, not VE's...
