Compress 2012 Ladder W/out Platform

Hi Guys-

I'm on day 5 with Compress and I'm wrapping up my first vessel. Does anyone know how to attach a ladder with no platform?

You can put 0" for platform length and width but it still puts a back railing. Not to sure otherwise. but for calculations it should suffice.
