Compression ring to roof joints in Storage Tank

Compression ring to roof joints weld visual inspection has been accepted. NOw Client is aking me to check for MPI. But i am insisting that this is checked when we check for Pneumatic test. API 650 tells nothing about it.

Submit relevant sections of API 650 to the client stating that MPI is nowhere mentioned.'

Hope that the client's spec does not have such a stupid clause.
