I'm looking for software for statically indeterminate beams. I'm looking for something cheap to just solve beam problems, I don't need a whole library of programs. Any suggestions?

This isn't really the right forum - try one of the structural engineering fora.

Check out They sell several different structural packages at a very reasonable price. If you dont want full blown FE package, try Analysis Group 2.5. It has continous beam as well as a few other typically problems such as mat foundation or a beam on an elastic foundation. It is reasonably priced, easy to use and it works well.
Good Luck!
