Is it really necessary for computer recpetacles to have dedicated neutrals? Is it because of switch mode power suplies overloading the neutrals? I cant see it being for power quality..?
As Mr. Bulsara stated, the specification is generally for dedicated neutrals for each circuit. Due to the switched power supplies and other loads which add neutral loads in modern office environments, this has become a common practice, but that is certainly not taken to an individual neutral from each receptacle back to the panel, unless of course for some reason the loads are such that each receptacle is on a dedicated circuit.
