comtrade file handling 1

I got a comtrade file with two current signals. Is there any way to create a new signal from the difference of these former ones? If so, Could this task be done in excell?

This would be easier to do in TOPS but I would think it could be done in Excel. Just subtract current 2 from current 1 (or vice versa) on a sample by sample basis and then plot.
